RUN Command Missing?

I have friends who’s PC were infected by spyware and after cleaning up the spywares, it was discovered that the Run command was missing from the Start Menu. How to solve the problem?Got this nice tip from C.Wittmann who posted a reply in www.pcreview.co.uk forum.

open gpedit.msc (look for it in C:\Windows\System32\)
goto:
“user config…”
“admin…”
“start menu…”
set “remove run menu from start menu” to “disabled”
