I’m sure Linux users have heard about this two sites that list down up to date distros. If you haven’t you can go there, download whatever distro you fancy, burn it to a CD/DVD and run it. Some live distro may also let you install it to your harddrive.
There are more sites that offer live linux distros but I’m sure this two will suffice.
