Have you even come across this message , “Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.”
According to HelpWithWindows.com, Windows Explorer crashes due to two main reasons :
3rd party shell extensions that are not functioning properly.
Existence of viruses or spyware on the machine.

An installed Windows XP protects itself from being cloned even for the backup purpose. Specialised software like the Norton Ghost, Acronis or PowerQuest Drive Image has to be used so that the OS can be moved to a bigger hard drive in a disk upgrade.

How do you close multiple applications at once? According to Daniel Petri, hold down the Ctrl key and click on every application button on the taskbar. Right click on ANY application button and choose ‘Close Group.’
