One of my favourite OS of yesteryears!
According to BeBits, “BeOS does not properly run on modern computers. Patches are available, but the Haiku OS team has been making a lot of progress towards a truly free and community-developed successor to the BeOS. You can even download a free version of the latest daily build to try out at their site.”
