There are a couple of ways to keep your softwares up to date:
- Use Secunia PSI.
What does Secunia Personal Software Inspector do? After you have installed it, Secunia PSI will scan your PC for unsecure and out of date softwares. Every software that is found to be out of date or unsecure will be detailed out.

- You may also use FIleHippo’s Update Checker.
You can download it here It’s only 153kb. To use FileHippo’s Update Checker, you must already install Microsoft .Net Fraemwork 2.0. If you don’t have it yet, you can download it here.

It also does driver updates, which is cool
I think FileHippo’s update checker is the best as it retrieves the most accurate update list.
