Yeah, I agree with your opinion that a simple disk defragmentation can not be missed when trying to get a faster computer for it helps to easily make the computer run faster by rearranging them stay at the same single place and insist on regularly defragmenting my computer. When searching the Internet, I have found an article taking about this in details as you can get more further information here: http://ezinearticles.com/?Disk-Defragmentation---Make-Computers-Run-Faster-Soon&id=3162755. Believe me, it is really worth reading!

What a gem! I found this on Yahoo poking around for something completely unrelated, now I'm going to need to go back and go through all the archives :) So much for my free time this morning, but this was a really spectacular find!

...but then I read Ravikumar Vasudevan below and tried “keyword.url”. It had an Alexa address (grrr - I've already uninstalled $%^&!*! Alexa and restarted FF). Changed that to “http://www.google.com/search?q=” and the problem now seems to be fixed.

I would like to learn Ubuntu Server (not desktop). The server edition does not have a desktop and is command prompt based. I am very familiar with Windows and Windows Servers, IIS 5 and IIS 6 as well as with MS-DOS. What I am looking to do is to be able to set up an experimental Linux web server. I have installed Apache on Windows test servers successfully but would like to do so with Linux. How long would it take a typical person with my level of knowledge to learn how to set up and administer a Linux webserver? Thank you.
