Ever wondered which program has a particular file or directory open? Now you can find out. Process Explorer shows you information about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded.

Reactivate Windows again after reinstall?

If you have to reinstall Windows XP you normally will have to reactivate too. Well not anymore. Just copy wpa.dbl after you activated the first time. It is located in the WINDOWS\system32 folder. Now if you reinstall Windows XP just copy the file back and you’re up and running again.

A friend of mine was recently typing up his resume and listing his experience with different operating systems. When the Word spelling/grammar checker came across “Windows ME and Linux,” it was quick to suggest that “Windows, Linux, and I” would be more appropriate.
